Our first Thanksgiving at home (2007)
Due to the illness of our cat, Lola (yes, our cat...), Laura and I had to miss Thanksgiving with the family in Moline, Ill., and stay in over the holiday break. We made the best of it, serving up highly unconventional salmon, but also bring some tradition into the mix with mashed potatoes.
