Lollipop, lollipop...
Will munches on some candy for the first time (on his first birthday). Welcome to one of the best parts of being a kid!
Freaking Out!
Will loves to jump across the floor on his knees -- how he keeps going so long is a mystery. I'm tired just watching him!
I Think He's Got It...
Will tools around the house to demonstrate his well-practiced new skill: walking! He's been doing it for a few weeks now and is getting pretty good at it. Next up: running, climbing and opening doors.
Assorted March Videos
Top left: Will playing peek-a-boo with dad.
Top right: Whenever the vacuum is on, Will chases it. Whenever it's off, he tries to find it.
Bottom left: Will swinging at his great-aunt Judy's house
Bottom right: Laura wanted to catch Will playing with Legos, but he wanted to play with the camera instead.
Will's New Trick
Will shows off his latest skill in a video especially for his grandparents (who just love all the "tricks").
Bathtime
Now that the little guy doesn't have to be in his tiny plastic tub and can be in the real tub, bath time has been a lot more fun. He loves it!
First Hard Food
We thought it deserved at least a video the first time we let Will go at it with some puffed rice treats for babies. He didn't seem too impressed with the taste!
Mom and Will Hanging Out
The title pretty much describes it...
Just Having Fun
These videos are of Will having fun at home. Life is good as seven months! In one video, mom entices him with a piece of frozen apple, and in the other he practices his climbing skills.

Crawling for the First Time
This video was taken only minutes after Will crawled for the first time (we got him to repeat the feat for the camera)-- it was the night of the Colts game at Jacksonville (where they advanced to 14-0). Brandon enticed him with the Colts pullout from the Indianapolis Star.
Will and His 'Fans'
Will sits on his great-grandma's lap and plays with some of his second cousins...guess who's the center of attention?
Letting the Patriots Know Where They Stand
Will makes a statement about tonight's Colts game against our arch rivals:
Assorted October Videos
Top left: "Aunt" Maureen coming to visit from Peoria and helping with bath time. Top right: Will giving some rice cereal a first attempt. Bottom left: Laughing and jumping...does it get any better? Bottom right: Scarlett and Will have a laugh-bark battle.
Mom Makes Will Laugh
Will's mom apparently is pretty darn funny, because he just can't help himself!
Jump! Jump! Jump!
Will rocks out on his jumper in this video. Whoever got us this before he was born (it's been so long ago...) needs to be repaid in gold. He loves this thing! And we love anything that keeps him busy.
Assorted August/September Videos
Top left: Will being sweet while laying on his boppy. Top right: Will holding and chewing on a teether. Bottom left: Will playing in his "Johnie Jump-Up" door jumper...he not leaping around in it yet but loves it nonetheless. Bottom right: Will being entertained by "flying."
Will Visits St. Louis
These are from our trip to visit Brandon's extended family in Collinsville, Ill. (outside St. Louis). The top video of Will's grandma, Katherine, getting some help from her sister in perfoming a good, old-fashioned sink bath; the bottom left is of Brandon's cousin Samantha holding Will on the deck; the bottom right is Riley (Brandon's brother's dog) chasing a kid down the zip line in the back yard.
Will Visits the Quad Cities
These are from our trip in August to visit Laura's family in the Quad Cities. The top video is of Will meeting his great-great grandma Stella for the first time at her house in Moline; the bottom left is Will playing with his grandparents, Steve and Jane; the bottom right is great-uncle Danny singing a song about too many photographs (filmed at great-grandpa Dick's house).
Will Falling Asleep
Here's little Will fighting valiantly to keep awake in his jumpy chair...and losing the battle. Is there anything more uplifting that seeing your baby actually going to sleep on their own?
Will on the Floor
Here's a video of Will on the floor watching and responding to his mom (and, in a brief cameo, the dog).
A video for the grandparents
Here is a little video especially for Will's grandparents which shows off a few of his latest tricks: smiling, cooing and following things with his eyes. It's only a few seconds long (the battery was low, but he was in a good mood...) but I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's a tiny thanks to Wayne & Katherine and to Steve & Jane for all the good things they've done for the little guy!
Will...in space!!!
Okay...not really in space. The best is the top video, which is larger for a reason. Here is a tribute to the first men on the moon, way back in 1969, Will-style For more fun, check out the top left video, which shows how happy our little guy would be if he were in space (he makes me do this "weightless" routine all the time to get him to stop crying). The top right video is just plain creepy (like a full moon...but creepier).
A Little Piece of Peanut's Life
A little video of Will doing one of his tricks: laying down and looking around. A small slice of the quiet part of Will's life.
First Father's Day
Brandon entertains Will (or just himself) on his first Father's Day this June.
Will's First Walk Around the Neighborhood
Will hops in the stroller for his first walk around the neighborhood at about one week old. Grandpa and Grandma Evans come along for the ride.
Grandparents Visit Will in the Hospital
Grandpa Steve and Grandma Jane come to visit Will on the day he was born in Indianapolis.
Japanese Steakhouse
These videos are from a visit to a Japanese Steakhouse with my family to celebrate my dad's birthday in February.

Indianapolis Zoo
A simple video from a trip to the Indianapolis Zoo with our friends Josh and Melissa and their two children.
Crazy Cats
These videos are an assortment of miscellaneous cat adventures, from bathing Sophie in the kitchen sink to putting a chicken hat on Lola to finding out what that crashing sound was in the kitchen in the middle of the night...
Driver Video Game
A couple of videos of Brandon playing Driver (a video game). Why? Because they're cool! In the first, a cop flips Brandon into the air only to fly past a police barricade and land safely; in the second, we learn why the rules of physics don't always apply (Brandon catapults a cop over a set of buildings).
